We also provide a shopfitting service ranging from wooden shop fronts, wall cladding to retail counters.
Post Office Counter
All counters are standard height & width 1040mm x 1 metre high unless otherwise requested.
Our counters are manufactured from 18mm laminated MDF boards with all exposed edges lipped with a durable feature edging strip. The main counter structure houses two shelves and base board at each servery position, these are set back to cater for a stool seating facility. The worktop surface is covered with a 2.5mm marmoleum lino, edged all round with solid American ash profile moulds and finished in a resilient lacquer. Both the underside of the counter top and rear of the counter front panels are lined discreetly with 3mm steel panels. Each servery position has pedestal units complete with a lockable cash drawer and a ballistic stainless steel cash packet transfer unit, which is housed within the counter worktop.
System 5 high tech security screens
A steel frame screen with a powder coated finish. This screen has a 600mm speech housing, with voice transfer around each post. The screen also contains fixed positions with available optional panel increments of 200, 350, 500 and 700mm. All are glazed with 11.3 5 ply MSR frame glass.
Security access door and frame
A steel box section frame complete with powder coated finish, housing a sold core door 47mm thick, faced both sides with coral coloured laminate, and a glass vision panel in a steel frame. The door has a full length security hinge. 50mm x 50mm Aluminium T section to edge of door. Lock 3R35X Chubb Security with lever handle and escutcheon plate.
Vertical sliding parcel hatches
Our parcel hatches operate on a balanced weight system making the hatch much easier to operate. The mechanism is based on a typical sash window arrangement, except our hatches are suspended on chains making them virtually maintenance free. Parcel hatch has locking facilities approximately every 50mm.
